Bellator released a statement suggesting Delray Beach authorities are searching for info from anybody who may have witnessed the accident. “Bellator has been informed of a dreadful accident that occurred last night involving featherweight fighter Jordan Parsons, who was hit by an automobile in a hit-and-run incident,” the announcement read. “We are still in the process of discovering details and together with his family’s consent, expect to get an update on his medical condition soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan and his family as he recovers. The hit-and-run happened on Lindell Blvd. and South Federal Highway in Delray Beach, Florida. Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to call the Delray Beach Police Department in -LRB-561-RRB-??243-7800.” Parsons (12-2) was scheduled to combat Adam Piccolotti in Bellator 154 in San Jose on May 14. It is likely Piccolotti will not have a replacement competitor and the bout will be scrapped.
